A Labor of Love

Happy Labor Day, especially to those of you work are our working men and women to whom the holiday is dedicated.
I was recently asked why I have written the Daily IN-Spire for two and a half years.
I was floored by the question, particularity by the fact that it HAS been a long time now.
Then I realized the answer:
It is simple. I Love you whether I personally know you or not
My life is a gift, and is a rare privilege, that I have the honor and obligation
to give back to others in any and every way I can every day.
That is my price for the air and space I consume on your/our Planet Earth.
I didn't always believe this way.
This column, this piece of unfolding work is truly a Labor of Love,
a tribute to and ongoing continuation of the many teachers, trainers, ministers,
and guides who have touched, molded and shaped my life.
Each of has our heroes, our role models, our teachers who helped make us who we are today.
Mine were artists in shaping the mind, heart and soul of someone who wanted to help others.
Each of is us an artist in some unique way, in something special that touches the hearts,
minds and lives of others, whether we know it or not.
I am a wordsmith and my canvas is the mind and hearts of my audiences,
my paint is the eloquent word, my brush is my voice and my typing fingers,
and most of all
My Purpose is to better your lives and the World.
Good work for an ordinary man with an extra-ordinary dream and incredible friends like you.
All I am asking is:
The world wants and needs more Love.
If not You, who?
If not Now, when?
I am not asking why,
I am only asking you WHY NOT !!
